Sex on a spoon with the queen

Monday, September 14th, 2009

So today has been a wonderland adventure with zoey.
We started off with Breakfast with the bugs and plants in the sun until zoey chipped the top off a molar chewing her muesli! So after some calming, emergency over and back to having fun. I love hanging with her, there’s always soo much laughing smiling and fun. So we had an park hopping walk across Mayfair to selfridges, she’s never ever been before! We had some photos with Santa in Christmas land, and then went to see the icecreamists. Down underground is a sexy ice cream lounge. We sat down in a black ice cream van all vinyl and fluff inside, with the queen in shades at the wheel. At the centre of the table was a red lit up button, and as curiosity would have me do, I pressed it. A couple of seconds later and a loud tune blared out, the tune to call children a running, the ice cream man is coming tune :) I didn’t go for the most expensive ice cream at £39.99 but the second at almost twenty quid. For that I got some natural stimulant milk ice cream, so toffee like that which adorns your toffee apple, and a shot of La Feé absynthe and even a badge. It was a delightful breakfast, and well worth the money, we even had an ice cream sex show off in our periphery.
Feeling dizzy we wandered the floors of selfridges laughing at the crazy things to buy, playing with the fun bits, and gawping at the funny people. I bought some White powder that when added to some water turns to snow, which turns back to powder and can again turn to snow. To finish off we bought some pies and had a lovely sunny goodbye so off back to dad’s I fly.
Yesterday I had a long walk around doing nothing but feel tired.
After ben finished work we went to a Moroccan restaurant which I’ve wanted to go to for years, so yummi cocktail and grilled halloumi.
Then to brick lane, but there was a music festival on and we weren’t there to pay to get into a bar that we wouldn’t be able to chat in, so the gun by spittlefields, a good old fasioned English pub was just right.
It was wonderful to have almost all of my best London friends all around one table, it made me really happy.
After some trouble and a slagging match with some waiters we found a nice restaurant where the waiter offered us 40% off our meal, bingo! We all heartily stuffed our faces until we couldn’t ven drink any longer.
So I’ve had a very memorable last time for a while in London.
The last few days have been so great, I couldn’t ask for better.
Time to start packing, off to LA tomorrow.

Wrinkles

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

Ben’s party was nice. Excellent to chat with people.
I had naughty thoughts about a friend. Never before. Well was a strange weekend in all.
I came back to the boat to go fruit picking with Amythest, but I read some dive homework and passed out in the sun on the deck. I’m nice as brown again.
The past two days, martin and I have been on out dive course at Andark near southampton. It’s going great, didn’t matter too much that martin and I hadn’t done all of the homework in time, we’ve caught up now.
The only sketchy thing wad martin guiding me about without my mask, in a murky pool, getting lost. All fine.
We splashed out, mind the pun, and bought snorkel, mask, fins and boots, not too costly, but now we look like raving trouts!
So off on Thursday to Frome in Somerset for our lake dive.
I feel good this evening. I’ve walked and bought cider, local, for drinking in Switzerland. I finished my homework. I have time to sleep early. :)
Good night.

Why is there a great big Belgian helicopter in Regents park?

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

There’s a huge helicopter here in the north of Regents park, why?
I got a new passport the other day, after lots of waiting and hanging around. While waiting I saw G.I. Joe in Peterborough cinema, which wasn’t bad. I did expect the worst, but was quite entertained. I guess I was impressed due to my poor expectations.
Afterwards, I met jab for a pint at charters and we were joined by sean and tessa which was nice. It’s been years since I’ve seen them. Sean’s becoming hippy! And I saw adam. It’s wicked to have time to catch up with people.
Last night hannah, angel and I went out in the east end, cargo. It was cool. Even cooler that the club has a photo booth :) It wasn’t cool that I lost my phone. As it turned out it slipped out of my pocket in the taxi. And luck would have it that the taxi driver answered it and returned it :)
In Angel’s place they have a free gym and pool. So after breakfast we had a quick sauna and jacuzzi, wonderful.
Are these Belgians lost?
Today I’m just chilling. I think I’ll head back up to Cambridge in a bit.
I wish it was sunnier here in England.

Enlightening

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Nam and I went into Glastonbury to see their shop, make juice and see more of the town. It’s hard to get anywhere fast, buMping into people all of the time.
The juice felt awesome, as did being around these powerful characters.
I chose to leave on a high, and must return to enjoy the place more.
This evening I met alive, izzi’s sister in Bristol. So we walked a lot and I saw how beautiful the city is, and the great cider. And it’s pretty posh, even the bums speak better English than many londoners.
We came back to Weston for borat and pizza.
Now I must sleep as I’m too tired to type.

Rough seas

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

i spent yesterday evening with izzi n her boyfriend mark. we had a nicish dinner by the canal in sardo. nice food, but poor value for money, and one rude waiter. but the guys were fun, and i spent some time with fronk, izzi’s baby puppy pug. it is insane, and pugly and cute and wierd!

i picked up a new pair of yen jeans. i love the design of these jeans. they aren’t cheap, but i guarentee that i will wear the life out of them. i haven’t really worn much in the way of other trousers, apart from yen’s, in the past 4 years. independant small designers beat the highstreet in my opinion.

i then met agota up in turnpike lane and we set off for fishguard. so this journey was slow due to traffic, and to make the long day worse, we arrived 40 minutes after a ferry left, leaving us with a two and a half hour wait before the next departure. also i had a couple of words from the local constabulary due to an overtaking i made earlier in the county, but all fine. it shows how different a world that i have been living in to that which is so close by.

so the ferry wasn’t without incident. agota and i sat upstairs to avoid the crowds of kids, to get some peace. once we left, she made a little joke about sea sickness. but this soon turned into a nightmare, for agota, and the whole ship. we were on a smallish catamaran ferry and so the small swells caused a lot of rolling. after 15 minutes agota ran to the toilets, and i didn’t see her for an hour and a half. for the rest of the ship, i have never seen so many sick people in my life. 80% of the passengers were regularly using the sick bags. piles of them dissappeared from the stocks. i didn’t have the slightest problem, but it was pretty disturbing to watch it, like watching a school that has just been poisoned. well you should have seen the passenger’s faces pick up colour when the captain announced that we were 10 minutes from land.

the drive to dublin was peaceful and slow. the government here really pushes the lower speed limit, and with shock signs it is very effective.

agota and i went out for a pint, some greasy food and came home for a bit more drinking, and a french chat with her flatmates. so it’s time for bed, it’s been a long day.

but first you have to watch the best ever topgear road test:

ever. jeremy clarkson at his best, in a ford fiesta!!!

Buena vista

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

I’m sat atop primrose hill, the sun is low in the sky. It’s beautiful.
Pride was pretty entertaining. Ben and I sat in trafalgar square drinking champagne, laughing at the crazy out-fits, and scantily clad trannies. We sat with elle n her boyfriend in soho square. Peed on a fence, got shouted at and ran away.
We bumped into Anne, stressed out. Some more booze and headed home. Ben was a bit worse for wear and joined harry in bed.
The other four of us stayed up until the sun came up. So I’m surprisingly doing not to badly, ben is a mess.
Had lunch with Anne in covent garden and I’ve walked across most of central London.
Now it’s time to wait for Izzi to finish work and go out for dinner.

Hangin

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

Euggg hung over. I just had to drive across central London feeling like crap.
I’m going to o and see portabello road.
I’m looking for an old chunky gold watch, preferably not in working order, I don’t care to know the time too much.
Yesterday I dropped by camden to see the guys in Cyberdog and popped by izzi’s and met her baby pug. It’s cute but sooo weird.
Then I headed to the squat in crouch end to meet with bertrand. We drank cider. There were lots of puppies available, I’d have loved to take one, but i’m far from capable of looking after one at the present time.
Matt came along and we and others went to Camden to go out. I that the first time that I actually went to Camden to go out like that?
Well the purple turtle was strange, like being in the five Years ago life, seeing mates and colleagues from before. Then we went to Dublin castle where we danced. I was so drunk that a girl I was getting with gave up. Oops!
So now I need breakfast to cure my self inflicted ails.
Oh and the iPod having Bluetooth, about bloody time, I love it.

Update s. france, and lots more

Monday, May 4th, 2009

It was great to see agota Saturday for her birthday. I really want to goto Ireland in the summer to see her for longer, and see Ireland before she leave for good.
Holland was great fun. First was queens night in utrect, it seemed like few other than us got dressed up. Utrect is like a cool, chilled, smaller version of Amsterdam.
The next day queens day started with the drama of a mad man driving his car through a crowd out to see their queen. But then we headed to Amsterdam for what was one of the best parties of my life. All of the streets were set up with stalls and parties, for what seemed like the entire city, we just walked for hours, going from party to party. Even in the canals, every boat was a party. We spent some time at a rave under a multistory car park by a large canal. Then the night was messy moving between clubs. It’s well worth going, but it might not be so good again, first experience being possibly unbeatable.
Ian l, courtney and I set course for Bordeaux, but not using any toll roads, without using the gps, to have a pleasant chilled scenic drive across France. Ian helped drive, as courtney can’t yet drive manual. At one point, ian got spooked by a fast driving bike who slowed down, dropped his speed, and good thing he did, with the gendarme waiting around the corner!
We only got lost once,
…So now it’s almost a week since I started writing this. We’ve;
Spent two days in the Bordeaux countryside.
Driven down and stayed on the coast near marseille.
Spent lunch in st. Tropez.
Stayed by a beach and swum near st. Tropez.
Driven through and had lunch in nice.
Driven through monte carlo.
Stayed a night on the Italian riviera.
Driven across to Venice.
Partied in venice last night.
This morning I woke at 6am, after 3 hours sleep, to go into Venice to take photos before the sun got too high, and avoid the tourists.
Now I am super tired, and by the almost silence from everybody else, I guess that they are too.
So tomorrow we’re driving towards Croatia, maybe staying the night in Slovenia. The idea is to sky dive over the Adriatic in Croatia.
But as we have quickly learned, nothing goes to plan. So onwards and southwards towards Athens.
I’ll end this now and maybe not have a chance to post of online until I next find wifi, which is rarely free, ciao.

trekk

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

friday was fondue and big party, and lots of fun! and sunday after 3 hours sleep on the mountain, over at Bruson. it’s great over there, it’s a little less accessable, so it’s aways empty, so there is always fresh snow days after a fall.

so saturday Apres Ski bar opened, which was mental! it too 30mins to walk to the end of the bar, 20m away, and everybody dancing on the tables, bar, everywhere, topless and throwing beer everywhere. didn’t stay long as ian got too drunk and had to be ready for work, so we came home.

so again 3 hours sleep and on to the mountain, this time with rob. we had a great day, but he wouldn’t trek anywhere with me, without us both having avalanche detection systems, so today i’ll see about getting ne, because i don’t want to miss out on the fun. but we fancied an adventure and dropped off the opposite side of the mountain, seeing many tracks going there. it was awesome the gentle powder field through graceful trees. it got a bit sticky after that, us not know where to go, in dense woodland. but in the end we arrived at a farm, and gradually made our way through fields and farms on foot and board. we arrived in orsieres, a town in the next valley, on the way to italy. time enough for a quick beer, and catch the train. followed by another train, followed by a bus, before we reached the car! quite an adventure.

i went to emma’s last night to hook their internet up and to have my hair cut, but she refused to saying that she feared my wrath if she did something i didn’t like. so i’ll get my hair done next weekend in london!

bring on london and partying, and maybe christmas is it happens here!
