Alan and I have a home, at last! It’s such a relief, seems like a huge luxury after living out of a bag or car or just a mess for 8 months. I packed my socks into a drawer this morning and it felt like heaven, funny how such trivial little things can make life so nice.
It’s a huge place, we both have double beds, big kitchen, even a dining area, washing machine an dryer and the cherry on top is a fireplace. It was unfurnished bar a sofa, so we got online, trawled adverts and placed our own and came up trumps to get a giant dining table and chairs, sofa bed an our beds, plus some pans. So now hone sweet home, and we even have a Christmas tree we cut down! Only thong missing I the Internet, but that should be fixed before the weekend.
We had a house warming party last night just an hour after moving in, so we managed to annoy our landlord, old man john upstairs. But we won’t make a habit of it.
So the weekend to lake louise was f*€¥ing cold doing a course. I got some bad frostbite on my nose. When it was over I sat in the hot tub in the spa and my nose just started bleeding and didn’t stop properly for hours. So I’ve learned that the cold is dangerous! I’ve never bled ao much in my life.
