Katyn
this film is awesome, one of the most emotional, powerful films i have ever seen. (imbd link, wiki link)

directed by a classic aged polish director, Andrzej Wajda, who lost his father in the massacre of katyn, it portrays the lead up to, the repeated cover ups, the families, and finally the massacre of the 22000+ POWs and other poles by the russians.
it is a very sad film, and very well produced.
i left it unable to even speak.
then the old lady sat further down my row (there must have been just 10 people in the cinema) started bitching about how outragious it is for people to take their shoes off in public. grrrrr. i told her to grow up and if she has problems with other people to speak up and not bitch. grrrrr, i’m still angry.
